The legendary New York jewellery house continues its global expansion with the grand opening in August 2019 of a new salon in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district. The more- than 1,000- square- foot space was designed to evoke a private estate, with a colour palette and architectural touches that reference the brand’s Fifth Avenue flagship. In addition to private rooms, the salon houses dedicated galleries for watches, high jewellery and bridal collections. Its 2019 watch novelties range from the Avenue Classic 20th Anniversary Moon Phase with mother- of- pearl dial and the Midnight Yozora Automatic, made using ancient Japanese decorative techniques.
