Race Around the Clock
Next to the 24- hours of Le Mans, the Rolex 24, held early each year at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida, is one of the most gruelling motor races on the calendar. The 2019 event, which saw cars, drivers and teams battling against rain and standing water as well as each other, was no exception, so when the four- man team of Fernando Alonso, Kamui Kobayashi, Jordan Taylor and Renger van der Zande brought their Cadillac DPI across the line in rst place they had every right to consider it a job well done. To the victors, the spoils – and this being the Rolex 24 at Daytona, what else could those be than a quartet of coveted Daytona Cosmographs?
