Phillips, in association with Bacs & Russo, achieved sales of HK$ 183 million at the Hong Kong Watch Auction Eight in May 2019. The top lot, a Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref. 5002G, sold for more than $ 8.5 million. In white gold, the doubledial wristwatch has 12 complications including cathedral minute repetition, perpetual calendar with retrograde date hand, leap- year cycle, moon age, angular motion, sidereal time, moonphases, and orbit and sky chart orbital display. Other important watches at the auction included a yellow- gold Paul Newman Daytona Ref. 6241, which sold for $ 4.35 million, and a “possibly unique” Patek Philippe Ref. 912 open- face pocket watch in skeletonised yellow gold, set with pearls, diamonds and rubies, that realised $ 6.39 million.
