What? Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli presented 63 breathtaking haute couture creations to an audience of fashionistas who descended on the style capital to view Valentino at its finest. Front-row fame: Stars of film and television, music and high society, power and politics all whipped out their mobiles to capture capes, drapes, fluorescent-yellow taffeta ensembles and tulle dresses with multiple frills, while the finale comprised a parade of what will almost certainly be spied on the red carpet in the coming year.
