Tea and Empathy

Prestige Hong Kong - - VIP -

What? Partnering with Johnnie Walker, we invited a host of friends to the new Moon Gate bar located within Hutong at Tsim Sha Tsui’s One Peking to try some of the whisky brand’s remarkable tea-ceremony cocktails. The drinks – dangerously, deceptively delicious in harmless-looking ceramic cups – had people coming back for more and indulging copiously in the SinoScottish concoctions. We didn’t hear much out of anyone the morning after… Best dressed: Given the gorgeous northern China-themed location, a special shout-out is due to two of our favourite ladies, Amanda Lui and Ifat Kafry Hindes, who, in their chic chinoiserie, were easily the best dressed in the room. We’re not forgetting designer Narcisa Pheres either, who had more diamonds on her neck than there were visible stars in the firmament that night. Captivating women: We’re often asked why there aren’t more female photographers. Well, the lensladies were well represented this time, with Flossie Wong and Yana Vilkina snapping away for this very page – and for our gallery online.
