Corum introduces new additions to its signature Admiral collections for men and women
A STALWART OF CORUM’S watch collections since it was first revealed in 1960, the Admiral – as its name suggests – has long been notable for its maritime associations. This year Corum decided to modernise its Admiral AC-One 45 Chronograph (below) with a fresh sense of urban sportiness. Minor tweaks to the masculine-looking timepiece include placing the Corum logo at 12 o’clock, reshaping the case to feature a more angular dodecagonal bezel and placing a pair of titanium inserts between the bezel and the case.
A new addition to the ladies’ Corum AC-One collection embraces the same design identity of the Admiral collection, but in a scaled-down 38mm size. The AC-One 38 Automatic
(right) features a slightly more curvaceous case than the original AC-One 45 as well as new straps and a triple-folding clasp to make it more comfortable on the wrist. Corum also redesigned its signature micro-rotor for the CO 082 automatic movement to fit the size of the case. Both the Admiral AC-One 45 Chronograph and AC-One 38 Automatic are available in rose gold.
