Karena Lam isn’t the easiest person to pin down, what with her busy acting career, raising two young daughters and various passion projects that range from Polaroid photography to Le French May. In fact, her cover shoot for this month’s Prestige was sandwiched between two overseas trips as well as promotional appearances for her latest children’s books, produced in collaboration with McDonald’s, and a new collection of Polaroids entitled Voyages by Karena Lam. “I have to act out my ideas. I can’t just talk about them and let them sit,” she explains. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, we can do it!’ I’m a person who acts out – whether it’s a dream or an idea, it keeps me creative.” And who are we to stop her?
