Jewelmer Joaillerie celebrates Philippine’s artistic icons
Jewelmer Joaillerie was showcased as one of “Philippine’s foremost icons” at the inauguration of new Philippine ambassador, Jose C. Laurel V, held at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo in June. The event was celebrated in conjunction with Philippine’s Independence Day and was attended by celebrity guests including Miss Universe Philippines 2016, Maxine Medina. The former beauty queen graced the fashion show helmed by Rajo Laurel, a Manila-based fashion designer. Medina led the catwalk wearing Jewelmer’s iconic headpiece comprising a cluster of Golden South Sea pearls, which she first worn at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. The event marked the first time in 53 years since 1964 where a cultural fashion show was put together at the Philippine Embassy in Japan to celebrate the country’s artistic achievements.
