A young London designer who has boldly pushed the boundaries of design and expanded the ‘jewellery canvas’ with extraordinary statement pieces is Crow’s Nest Jewels’ founder and CEO, Daniel Philip Hegard.
Daniel does not believe in playing safe when it comes to his designs. His doublefinger and full-finger rings are examples of this boldness. “I like to design with the phrase ‘more is more’ in my mind, but I finish off with elegance,” he shares.
His Dream feather collection, particularly the full-finger diamond ring that very elegantly portrays a feather, is a piece that has stood out throughout his journey — which commenced in 2012. He says: “I think its success lies in its simplicity and ultimate vibe of luxury; hence a red carpet favourite since its launch.”
In 2018, to give fans affordable entry price points without compromising on luxury, the young designer launched a silver brand, Raven Jewels. “I love that there is a little bit more design freedom when not using diamonds and gold,” he adds. Following the successful collaboration with Disney for its movie Maleficent, Daniel is now working with British singer and actress Rita Ora, who will wear Raven Jewels on her world tour.
