Kowloon City is also known as Little Thailand or Little Bangkok due to the large Thai community centred around South Wall Road, Nam Kok Road and Lung Kong Road. This is truly the best place to visit for authentic Thai food in Hong Kong. Mini Bangkok is a local favourite but that means constant queues, so we recommend going to Cambo Thai instead. The streets are also lined with Thai grocery stores where you can pick up hard-to-find Thai ingredients and snacks; keep an eye out for the baggies of premade red, green or yellow curries in shops, most of the time still warm and freshly made from a restaurant down the road!
