According to the rodent infestation rates announced last year, Kowloon City ranked the second highest among 19 districts in Hong Kong. Residents in low-level flats need to pay attention as rats can climb up pipes outside buildings and get into homes in search of food.

Distance to MTR stations

As the construction of Kai Tak and Sung Wong Toi MTR stations are underway, residents may still need to take feeder bus services to nearby railway stations in Wong Tai Sin, Lok Fu or Choi Hung. Meanwhile, there are just two bus routes within Kai Tak, running to Tai Kok Tsui and Sai Wan Ho, respectively.

It is worth noting that Kai Tak belongs to Primary School Net 34 while its secondary school net is still Kowloon City District.
