According to the Land Registry, a total of 7,822 residential transactions and HK$70.1 billion were registered in April, up 49.5% and 52.7% month-on-month, respectively. Primary transactions were up 90% m-o-m to 2,789 cases; secondary transactions were up 33.8% m-o-m to 5,033 cases. For April, the Mass Residential Index increased by 0.1% m-o-m, while the Luxury Index decreased by 0.6% m-o-m. Over the same period, both the Shatin-central Link Index and the Kowloon East Index reported a 0.5% and 0.4% m-o-m decrease, respectively.
