FIVE THINGS TO DO IN SHAU KEI WAN

-

Situated in the Eastern District of Hong Kong, Shau Kei Wan is one of the city's oldest areas and home to a historic typhoon shelter. Referring to the particular shape of the coastline along the area, it was given the name “Shau Kei”, meaning colander in Chinese, while “Wan” means bay. As time went by, the local economic growth in Shau Kei Wan moved in tandem with the rest of the city and is on track to becoming a major residential hub in the Eastern District.
