Tai Wai Nullah revitalisation

The Drainage Services Department is planning to revitalise the Tai Wai Nullah (measuring two kilometres long and 40 metres wide) by reconstructing the riverbed with reinforced concrete, introducing green designs, footpaths and sitting areas. An environmental impact assessment is scheduled for the third quarter of next year.

The monkey burglars

The northern part of Tai Wai is located adjacent to a country park. Neighbouring residences such as May Shing Court and Mei Chung Court have seen monkeys “robbing” residents of food on the street and even climbing up into flats.
