TATLER SAYS

This veteran Chinese restaurant has been dishing out quality Cantonese at Eaton HK since 1990. After its effortlessly glamorous redesign by AvroKo in 2018, it’s still serving up the city’s most delectable dim sum and refined Cantonese classics amidst cozy, sophisticated interiors, all dark wood panels and mood lighting inspired by 1920s Shanghai. Exceptional seafood, barbecued meats like their char siu and crispy pork belly, as well as their slow-cooked Cantonese elixirs are rather popular with the regulars.

SIGNATURE DISHES

Honey-glazed barbecued pork

Tiger prawns two ways

Pan-fried chicken with ginger and mandarin peel served on a hot pan

TATLER TIPS

Book a table in the Dragon Room, the handsomest of them all. Tiger prawns two ways, one sweet and sour, the other crispy wok-fried, is a must-try.
