The Wilshire Bar is an homage to the authentic speakeasy, from the covert method of entering, to the dimly-lit, spirits bottle-lined interior. Forgotten classics are the rule of thumb here, displayed on a rotating menu of just five drinks—everything else, from wines and liquors to bar food, has been stripped away as unnecessary ornamentation to the cocktail drinking experience. In their place are personalised drinks: guests are encouraged to ask the bartender, who then whips up a custom libation based on the drinker's preferences.
