When you walk into The Pottinger hotel, you immediately feel transported to a European bed and breakfast. Gradini is impressive in its decor and space—it’s quaint and cosy and has all the makings of an elegant evening retreat. Among the pastas, we’d pick the simple mushroom linguini over the lobster tagliolini, and add an order of crab cakes. The absolute stand-out on the dinner menu is the tiramisu, which might be one of best we’ve tasted in the city.
