CM as­sures re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion of PAP of Metro-3

Mum­bai Metro-3 is fac­ing huge protest form Shiv Sena and res­i­dents of Dadar, Gir­gaum and Kal­badevi, who are asked to shift their homes. Chief Min­is­ter Deven­dra Fad­navis said that the Co­laba-Ban­dra-Seepz Metro rail pro­ject will not be scrapped and con­cern re­lated to re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion will be taken care. The Mum­bai Metro Rail Cor­po­ra­tion (MMRC) will need to shift 261 ten­ants and 94 shops from 8 build­ings in Gir­gaum, 121 ten­ants and 173 shops from 18 build­ings in Kal­badevi and 8 fam­i­lies from one build­ing in Dadar to con­struct Metro sta­tions. The state gov­ern­ment cor­po­ra­tion is ex­plor­ing op­tions of re­ha­bil­i­tat­ing the res­i­dents on the same site.
