Adorn - - OFF THE SHELF - Available at Hazoorilal, New Delhi

Tribal motifs in jewellery take you back into history, and above all, they exude raw energy. This limited edition, influenced by the tribal chieftains of Africa, is crafted in 22-karat yellow gold and accented with richly hued coloured gemstones. Pictured here is a solid 22-karat open gold cuff with antique finish from the house of Hazoorilal, New Delhi. The piece belonging to the Tribal Era collection showcases a perfect blend of superior craftsmanship and design that highlights the ancient Indian culture. Intricately carved with floral and leafy motifs, the finials are adorned with drop-shaped emeralds and pearls. The glass-shaped manchette mounted in 22-karat yellow gold is dressed up with a vine of flowers studded with rubies on one side and emeralds on the other. The cuff has a locking system in which the two halves of the ornament are joined by two long screws on both sides. The cuff is further embellished with symmetrical lines and textures that adds a touch of glamour to it. The 22-karat yellow gold pendant necklace and earrings pays homage to the sun. The gold medallion pendant centres on a floral motif set with precious cabochon cut rubies and emeralds with a surround of fine engravings that depict the rays of the sun. Be an experimentalist and team up this tribal jewellery with a couture outfit to be future perfect.
