SPIRITED NOTES

Adorn - - OFF THE SHELF -

True to its word, Lai Designs’ new collection Hidden Messages is about personal mantras or reminders to the wearer about empowering oneself. The 15-piece edition is handcrafted in sterling silver and narrates the story about the newage woman’s fight for rights, self acceptance and gender equality, of breaking stereotypes and exploring different facets of one’s personality.

Puja Bhargava Kamath, founder and creative head of Lai Designs, notes, “I see these empowering pieces as conversation starters; also, how these pieces, which they will cherish 10 or 20 years down the line, will remind them of the time that shaped their lives. I believe that these positive, empowering messages when looked at, even in passing, send subliminal messages to the brain, re-enforcing their positivity every single time. In this collection, I have combined my love for doodling and words to create a unique story board.”

The Hidden Messages collection is unique because it inspires the wearer, and it is personalised. The 15 designs come in the form of earrings, rings, pendants and necklaces in satin finish that lends them an air of sophistication.
