Adorn - - OFF THE SHELF - Available at ZOYA, MUMBAI

The sophisticated 6299 Hollywood Blvd. capsule collection by Zoya, the exquisite diamond boutique from the House of Tata, consists of 43 masterfully crafted pieces that reference three iconic eras – the flapper girls of the 1920s, the bold rouge lips of the 1950s, and the glamorous red carpet imagery of the 2000s.

The free-spirited flapper girls in their boxy dresses, cloche hats and the bold zigzag forms bring to mind sweeping curves and chevron motifs. The Roaring Twenties line offers detachable twin necklaces, tasselled diamond and emerald earrings and the popular beaded necklaces of the time, while the silent era star Anita Page’s iconic braided look has been captured in neckpieces and earrings crafted in the finest rubies.

The fashion sensibilities of the Fabulous Fifties was defined by rounded, soft shoulders, bold rouge lips, clinched waists, elaborate skirts, and this segment showcases neatly set diamonds, emeralds and rubies in classic bracelets, neckpieces and earrings. An asymmetrical necklace in black diamonds takes design cues from the era’s popular gingham prints.

The flamboyance of the “Alluring Two Thousands” was marked by glamorous red carpet events with stars seen in extravagant gowns. Long chandelier earrings in yellow sapphires and pendants in blue sapphires, cuff bracelets in yellow citrines and beer quartz capture the glitzy mood of the aughts’ Hollywood fashion. The ultra-stunning line of diamond jewellery mounted in gold is fashioned with diamonds, citrine, topaz, tanzanite and sapphires. Steal the show by donning any of these marvellous beauties!
