Spreading wings of excellence
‘India – Global Aviation Hub’.
Civil Aviation is the key infrastructure sector that facilitates the growth of business, a seamless flow of investments and enhancement of trade and tourism which has a significant multiplier effect across the country. India is one of the fastest growing aviation markets and by 2020, passenger traffic across Indian airports is expected to increase to 450 million. The travel and tourism market is forecasted to grow by 44.14 per cent to touch USD 270.5 Billion by 2023. With the introduction of UDAN (Ude–desh–ka-aam-naagrik) under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), the sparkling element of the National Civil Aviation Policy (NCAP)-2016, aviation in India is set for an exponential growth, connecting un-served and under-served airports of the country that will boost regional tourism and ensure uniform, holistic economic growth.
This biennial exhibition on Civil Aviation and Aerospace, is all set to surpass the landmark created by the earlier events and will witness a larger participation from international and Indian companies across sectors such as Aircraft Manufacturing, Aircraft Machinery & Equipment, Aircraft Interiors, Airlines, Airline Services & Air Cargo, Airports Infrastructure & Equipment, the Space Industry and the Skill Development & Aviation Training Institutes.
It aims to be the most comprehensive platform on the civil aviation industry calendar that includes exhibitions, roundtable conferences on tourism, cargo, logistics and skills, chalets, CEOS’ forum, static display, media conferences, G2B/ one-to-one business meetings etc. This time, participation is expected to include more than 150 Exhibitors from India and around the globe, with around 25 aircraft at the static display area. Concurrent events such as the inaugural ceremony, thematic pavilion, awards ceremony, cultural night and business networking dinner are some of the highlights of the show.
