Lakshmi Chemex expanding its reach across India
Known for textile printing inks, textile colours and chemicals, Lakshmi Chemex, Tirupur, a distributor of The Global Ink, Mumbai is expanding its customer base across India. To create awareness about its products and services, Lakshmi Chemex will be organising industryrelevant seminars in which experts will discuss various aspects regarding the proper use of ink as also the services of the company. Online, MS Kathiresan, MD of the company informed that the industry prefers to work with Lakshmi Chemex due to authentic reasons which include a complete range in inks – be it solvent-based PVC and phthalate-free inks, waterbased PVC and phthalate free inks, water-based inks, acrylic binders, pigment dispersion, discharge binder. “Whatever industry requires, we serve with quality and timely delivery. Among Indian ink manufacturers, The Global Ink is having an edge as it has the facilities and knowhow to produce a large variety of products in the segment,” he says, further adding that Lakshmi Chemex is financially strong, and so spreading its wings across India to serve its clients better is not an issue.
Currently, the company is having a good client base in Tirupur, Bangalore and Mumbai. Almost three years ago, the company increased its focus on Lakshmi Chemex is also known for specialities and value addition accessories like glitter and flock powder, foils, flock sheets, reflective and glow in dark (radium) etc. Delhi-NCR and started its office in Delhi also. Now, many of the leading exporters of Delhi-NCR are associated with the company like Shivalik Prints, Faridabad.
Moving forward, the company is now looking aggressively into entering Andhra Pradesh as the textile and apparel industry is also growing there. “We see good opportunities in Andhra Pradesh as many good companies are already there and many more are coming,” adds Kathiresan.
Talking about the current business scenario, Kathiresan believes that now business is picking up, as from the last three months, they have noticed positive indications. “We are proud to serve Tirupur and other textile and apparel hubs from last two decades, building a strong client base. So, whether the market is up or down, it does not affect our business much. Being GOTS and Oeko-Tex certified, we are supporting nature also. With our continuous best service to the clients, we are hopeful to grow well in the future also,” concludes Kathiresan.
