Richa Global Exports, a leading Indian apparel exporter received Responsible Leadership 2018 Award from the Ascena Group Inc. for outstanding performance in the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programmes vis-à-vis Herhealth Project, Herfinance Project, and energy management & saving programmes. The Ascena Group Inc. has been working for women empowerment across the globe and has achieved a global target of covering 1,00,000 women workers in their various womenoriented CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programmes. Dinesh told Apparel Online that it is really a proud moment for them as from India, only Richa Global was selected for the award and the company remained on the top among the elite Global Vendor Group of 17 top vendors of The Ascena Group Inc. From India, there are five such vendors in this group. “Despite having won this industry accolade, Richa Global has absolutely no intention of resting on its laurels,” said Dinesh. He further added that from the last few years, Richa Global has been rated as top vendor of this group for the year 2018 in Responsible Leadership in CSR segment as the company has shown consistent and sustainable performance in supplier CSR ownership, social compliance of active & pre-sourcing facilities and environment conservation.
