Blumerq Eyes Vast Expansion
Blumerq, the upcoming men’s smart casuals brand with 314 retail points including exclusive outlets nationwide, has announced its plans for doubling its growth with an additional 270 retail points across India. This decision comes forth after a successful test launch and constructive recognition in selective markets since the last one year that has generated sales of around 50 million. Blumerq is an exclusive brand of men’s casual apparel designed, tailored and inspired by music and specially caters to young men. The optimistic test launch result gave way for Blumerq’s team to expand rapidly across India; with the brand having established its presence in Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, etc. and also on leading e-commerce sites. “The competitive retail landscape has been witnessing aggressive growth, style and innovative positioning, with Indian youth being targeted by multiple players. Blumberq’s expansion will drive growth and allow us to reach a new set of young consumers. We are expanding our presence by adding 20 plus standalone new stores and 250 multi-brand outlets,” states L Joseph Muthaiyan, CEO, Blumerq.
