House of Masaba Launches a Pop-Up Store in Hong Kong
House of Masaba launched a pop up shop in Hong Kong on April 14, featuring latest collections by the designer. Gupta took her Summer Festive collection to the Conrad in Hong Kong and it was her first time at the venue.
Masaba Gupta’s latest collection is inspired by the Hindu tradition of married women wearing bright sindoor along the parting of their hair. On her brand’s social media, Gupta explained that this tradition is now seen as old-fashioned in certain circles but it is a personal choice to be celebrated. The tradition has been re-invented in her latest campaign with white and bright pink versions to match her designs. The brand also launched its ‘Tiger Lily’ collection which features a custom print with tigers and lilies and this will also be available at the pop-up shop in Hong Kong.
