With a new contemporary collection that has a vivid colour palette, Monte Carlo plans to expand its presence in Northeast and South India. The collection exhibits modern and fresh styles for the fashion-conscious, and offers designs in vibrant colours with a lot of silhouettes. Monte Carlo also offers fusion wear in the form of tunics, long dresses and more.

Growing fashion consciousness among Indian women has turned the western wear market into a lucrative and highly evolving one. “The Indian apparel industry is highly competitive, and with rapid urbanisation and increase in incomes, ‘price-sensitive’ consumers are now open to paying for the quality western wear,” notes Monica Oswal, Executive Director.

She adds, “We enjoy brand penetration of about 50 per cent in India and are expanding further in Northeast and South India. Today, women are neither willing to sacrifice quality for extremely low prices, nor are they willing to pay more than the worth of the apparel.”
