English Colors Enters Retail
Clothing brand English Colors is moving from being a wholesaler to a customer-facing retailer. As part of this retail strategy, the brand will open its first flagship in Thrissur, Kerala next month. A total of five stores are planned by the end of the current financial year.
Another way the brand is working on engaging directly with customers is through social media. English Colors’ Instagram page is a testimony for the brand’s reach and connection with customers. It is also working with North Indian distributors to build a network in the region. The aim is to eventually build a network of exclusive brand outlets across India. Talks with e-commerce platforms are also in progress.
The Bengaluru-based brand has its network in South India, with outlets in Bengaluru, Kochi and Kozhikode. It started off by taking up export orders for brands such as Pepe Jeans and John Holdon, before starting its own private label. English Colors, which is committed to providing customers with great quality products at low prices, is the celebration of colours, class and craftsmanship. All its products are made with best quality fabrics and accessories by an experienced set of craftsmen.
