Opus Indigo’s Chair- a- Mez
Chair- a- Mez is based on a simple but important ergonomic principles that human beings have become sedentary creatures ( Homo Sedens) and no one should sit in a chair for a long stretch. Furniture must allow people to get in and out easily. Chair- a- Mez is made of recycled and recyclable materials. The table top is of rubber wood board and the base from recycled aluminium. While the chair seat is of natural wood veneers, steel tubing is used for chair and table legs. It is a chair and table combination that can be coupled or uncoupled at will; it can be easily stacked to clear out the class room for cleaning and maintenance.
