Fast Track Architecture

-

The WGH– Wohnungsgenossenschaft Hüttental recently built five new buildings with a total of 70 apartments of various sizes on the street KarlSaßmann- Weg. The project involved five multi- family dwellings, a project that consists of high- quality and primarily barrier- free apartments into which the organisation invested more than € 10 million. Every building is equipped with different types of apartments to address specific individual needs. The spectrum ranges from small 38sq m apartments for singles to spacious 115sq m apartments in which families can feel right at home on two floors of space. The architecture features huge windows that create light- filled rooms, balconies and porches on the street side, elements that add accents to the building. All buildings were constructed with modern, high- quality materials and were erected with sustainable building practises in accordance with Germany’s Energy Conservation Directive ( EnEV). The buildings are surrounded by large green areas.

When considering the type of floor to use, the WGH consciously chose the design floor DISANO by HARO because of its sustainable and healthy living features.

The manufacturing company HambergerIndustriewerke is assuming environmental responsibility at its location in Rosenheim. The environmentally conscious production system has received ISO certification for active environmental management and reduction of energy consumption. DISANO design floors have been awarded the German environmental seal Blue Angel and the eco- INSTITUT label. A total of 2,000sq m of DISANO was fully glued down in the buildings by the company FußbodenKönig of Olpe, Germany.
