Aludecor has collaborated with Architect Ayan Sen to execute a transformational design for Steel Industry giant Tata Steel’s Kolkata Corporate Office. The 15,000 square feet space was envisioned to have a “lucid, industrial yet charmingly inviting” look.

For a striking design, Ar. Ayan Sen has used tones of grey and brick, in varying amounts, throughout the corporate office space. On one hand, the red and brown brick toned hues lend a vernacular, regional feel, while on the other, the different tones of greys ensure a modern, industrial appearance.

Ar. Sen has chosen shade MA- 10 Antiq Slate from Aludecor’s Wabi Sabi Series of ACPs to beautify the feature wall behind the reception desk at the lobby. Part of Aludecor’s “Perfectly Imperfect” series of ACPs, the shade MA- 10 Antiq Slate represents “Brutalist Architecture” at its best. The colour palette immediately caught the eye of Ar. Sen, who wanted an array of options that match Tata Steel’s dominating stature as a Steel Industry giant.

The feature wall stands proudly, bearing the Tata Steel logo, which beautifully stands out against the ACP clad surface.
