REFLECTIONS

‘ Breakwater’ by Coryn Kempster and Julia Jamrozik is a playsculpture that brings together infrastructural elements, concrete dolosse, and gives them a colourful coating and a soft rubber base to make a playable ‘ social infrastructure.’ The project was installed in Jamestown, New York, at the recently opened Chadakoin Park Bike Path and was selected through a two- stage competition, receiving a grant from the KaBOOM!
