Exploring the enigmatic deep red shade to create high-impact, glamorous environments, Jaipur-based multi-disciplinary design practice, Design Atelier has unveiled signature lounge spaces. Meticulous planning of lighting, compositions and contrasts makes these spaces exude warmth, luxury and refinement. With the magnetic red as the focal colour, the designers employ a host of textures, patterns and subtle contrasts to tone down the theme, while a generous use of gold accents adds opulence. In one of the lounges the ceiling is beautifully illuminated, while in another, it’s intricately decorated and accented with a traditional chandelier to add an old-world aura. Wooden wall art, spot lights and candles evoke an alluring environment.
