ALEXIS DORNIER, Architect

Alexis Dornier was born in Munich, Germany in 1981, where he grew up inspired by his family being into aviation, art, engineering, photography and design. Dornier studied architecture at the Berlin University of the Arts and interned for Asymptote Architecture, OMA-NY and Rex between 2004-2007 in New York City, and opened up his design studio in Berlin in 2009. In 2013, he moved his practice to Bali. With a rapidly growing body of work, Dornier strongly believes that well built environments are a result of respectful collaboration and a positive team spirit.
