Popular for it’s traditiona­l design, Jangsta Dumtseg Lhakhang, a temple built in 1433, showcases Buddhist iconograph­y.

National Museum of Bhutan (4kms)

DAY 2 Breakfast at Champaca Cafe (8kms)

What looks like a cozy café has a bright and spacious restaurant area upstairs. Try the flavourful sandwiches with a steaming hot cup of coffee.

Paro Taktsang (11kms)

Drive to the upper Paro Valley and hike to Paro Taktsang or the ‘Tiger’s Nest’. Or you can enjoy the view of Paro Taktsang against the backdrop of majestic mountains, while savouring your packed lunch.

Paro River
