ILLNESS TO WELLNESS
In continuation of Diabetes Awareness, Prevention & Wellness Programs, ASSOCHAMFoundation For Corpor~e ~~.cial ,I, ,. Responsibility (AFCSR) under the aegis and leadership of The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industrf .In ia (ASSOCHAM) with the support of our esteemed member, ITCare organizing Free Diabetes Health Camps across Delhi to cover maximum number of beneficiaries.
Before orgamzmg the Camp, our officers approached every household and covered almost all the residents with an objective to spread information and awareness among the people about Camp activities through distribution of Diabetes IEC materials Also, bulk mailing and messages through Social media were circulated by RWA officersfor spreading awareness regarding Camp. During the month of March, 1i Cam1M' were organized across Delhi. During these camps, our field officers visited about 11,400 households, covering almost 45,600 persons. About 1,970 persons visited in these camps, around 1,536 registered and tested Random Blood Sugar (RBS) during these camps and 1,169persons underwent HBA1C testing. About 1,222 visitors of all age groups watched the street play (nukkad natak).
Visitors registered their valuable feedback and highly appreciated the efforts done by all under the flagship of ASSOCHAMand its esteemed members.
Other mediums such as banners, Standees, etc were placed at different vital strategic locations to spread out information and awareness regarding Diabetes Camp and its various activities.
All the members, residents along with their friends, relatives and near and dear ones were cordially invited to undergo for a comprehensive check- up which include BMI, counseling, diet plan, diabetes management, etc in Diabetes Health Camp. Also, organized the street play (Nukkad Natak) to spread out the message more effectively and widely.
