happy to share that ASSOCHAM has registered a significant presence in East Asia by opening its recent office in Seoul, South Korea. This initiative will help in ASSOCI1AM's engagement not only in South Korea but also in East Asian Region.
The South office in Seoul was jointly inagurated by Mr. D. S. Rawat, Secretary General, ASSOCHAM and Mr. Abhishek Srivastava, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Korea Chapter and CEO, IMMAC Global. Representatives £rom Government of 'South Korea, Indian Mission, industry representatives from South Korea.
India has a good trade relationship with South Korea. Our total trade stands at 16.8 bn US$ with exports accounting for 4.24 billion US$. The potential sectors of cooperation between India and South Korea are Automobile parts, telecommunication equipment, petroleum refined products, accessories of motor vehicle, mineral fuels, iron and steel, precious metals, etc.
