UNANU solution for logistics sector
UNANU Logistics, which offers communication, online payment and tracking technologies to the transportation industry, has launched its truck aggregator app in Chennai and areas close to it. Since the company’s founding in 2017, UNANU Logistics has been focused on bringing the latest tools through the web and mobile platforms to transportation companies in India.
“Technological adaptation in the logistics industry, particularly by the small and medium businesses in India is very slow, making it a perfect market to introduce our product and technological capability. We are engaging with a large set of fleet owners and transportation/shipping companies to showcase how it can lower shipping costs and freight charges, and improve the quality of their service, rather than the number of shipments,” Srini Sundar, Founder and CEO, UNANU Logistics, said. “In many cases, the vehicles return empty or have to wait for days together to get an order that they can ship back. To provide return load support, UNANU will be a great platform,” he said.
The scenario of tech-driven logistics in India has been emerging since a few years and bringing a digitised solution to truck aggregators to automate processes like delivery status, load find, driver payment, and real time updates on consignments from pickup to delivery. “This model of business will minimise the operational costs and expenses on deadheads, thereby enabling efficient use of fuel,” Sundar said.
UNANU is a logistics technology startup by Srini Sundar, with experience in the fields of Software, IT management and Logistics, to provide tracking and communication solutions to shipment companies and fleet owners in India.
UNANU is poised to disrupt the transportation industry and offer reliable transportation technology solution. After product testing and client acquisition in India, UNANU aims to expand to North America and APAC countries.
