Made-in-In­dia F-Pace launched

SUP­PORT­ING PRIME min­is­ter Naren­dra Modi’s make-in­in­dia ini­tia­tive, Jaguar has launched a new lo­cally man­u­fac­tured de­riv­a­tive of their per­for­mance SUV, the F-Pace. The car will be made in its Pres­tige vari­ant and has been priced ag­gres­sively at Rs 60.02 lakh (ex-show­room). It will be pow­ered by JLR’s 2.0-litre four-cylin­der In­ge­nium diesel en­gine which pro­duces a peak power out­put of 177bhp and 430Nm of torque. It comes with a range of fea­tures in­clud­ing adap­tive LED head­lights, Ac­tiv­ity Key, Wi-Fi Hotspot & Pro Ser­vices and a 10.2-inch touch­screen in­fo­tain­ment sys­tem. As a lux­ury SUV, the car also gets pre­mium fea­tures such as rear re­clin­ing seats, four-zone cli­mate con­trol, a 380W Merid­ian sound sys­tem and 10-colour con­fig­urable in­te­rior mood light­ing. The Jaguar F-Pace is the sixth model in Jaguar Land Rover’s prod­uct port­fo­lio to be lo­cally man­u­fac­tured in the coun­try. It was first launched back in Novem­ber 2016.
