Made-in-India F-Pace launched
SUPPORTING PRIME minister Narendra Modi’s make-inindia initiative, Jaguar has launched a new locally manufactured derivative of their performance SUV, the F-Pace. The car will be made in its Prestige variant and has been priced aggressively at Rs 60.02 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be powered by JLR’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine which produces a peak power output of 177bhp and 430Nm of torque. It comes with a range of features including adaptive LED headlights, Activity Key, Wi-Fi Hotspot & Pro Services and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system. As a luxury SUV, the car also gets premium features such as rear reclining seats, four-zone climate control, a 380W Meridian sound system and 10-colour configurable interior mood lighting. The Jaguar F-Pace is the sixth model in Jaguar Land Rover’s product portfolio to be locally manufactured in the country. It was first launched back in November 2016.
