New Maruti-Suzuki Cele­rioX avatar launched


LAUNCHED BACK in 2014, the Maruti-Suzuki Cele­rio has got­ten quite pop­u­lar since its launch and even sold more than 3,00,000 units since then. In or­der to in­crease its ap­peal, the com­pany has launched a new, more stylish ver­sion of the car called the Cele­rioX. The new ver­sion is high­lighted by a new Pa­prika Or­ange colour and is sur­rounded by black pro­tec­tive plas­tic cladding at the front, back and the sides. The front and ra­di­a­tor grille comes in a new de­sign and has also been blacked-out to add to the sporty look. The new theme con­tin­ues with the blacked-out treat­ment con­tin­u­ing to the al­loy wheels, ORVMs and the B-pil­lar. It even gets new roof rails fin­ished in black. The Cele­rioX will only will avail­able in petrol ver­sions, which gets a 1.0-litre en­gine de­vel­op­ing 67bhp and 90Nm of torque. Prices for the car start at Rs 4.57 lakh (ex-show­room) for the base vari­ant of the Cele­rioX.
