Lamborghini goes to MIT

LAYING THE foundations for a future electric super sports car, Automobili Lamborghini has collaborated with two laboratories at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Still in its early concept stages, the car will be called the Lamborghini Terzo Millenio. The technological goals of the project is for Lamborghini to gain the know-how to address the future of the sports car in five different aspects—energy storage systems, innovative materials, propulsion system, visionary design, and emotion. The concept physically imagines design and technology theories of tomorrow, while aiming to uphold the basic DNA, fire-breathing performance and essence found in all Lamborghini models.
