While Suzuki took the prize of be­ing funky, Toy­ota took the prize for be­ing out­ra­geous. Af­ter all who calls its lat­est con­cept ve­hi­cle Fine-Com­fort Ride even though the van like con­cept is fu­tur­is­tic and pow­ered by a fuel cell. Toy­ota says that this in fu­ture could be “a new form of the pre­mium sa­loon” by em­ploy­ing a flex­i­ble lay­out unique to elec­tric-pow­ered ve­hi­cles and a large amount of avail­able elec­tric power us­ing hy­dro­gen as an en­ergy source. Each wheel that is po­si­tioned at the very edge of the ve­hi­cle has a built in mo­tor thereby giv­ing the ve­hi­cle its unique ar­chi­tec­ture as well as the ef­fi­ciency of go­ing 1,000km in a tank­ful of hy­dro­gen which can be re­plen­ished in 3 min­utes flat.
