BMW caters to en­thu­si­asts

BMW MO­TOR­RAD has launched two niche seg­ment mo­tor­cy­cle to the mar­ket. The first is the K1600B, a full-size bag­ger mo­tor­cy­cle which has been de­signed and de­vel­oped for tour­ing en­thu­si­asts. It fea­tures a 1.6-litre in­line six-cylin­der en­gine which de­vel­ops 160bhp and 175Nm of torque. Launched at Rs 29 lakh (ex-show­room), the bike will en­ter the coun­try as CBU units. Stan­dard fea­tures in­clude Dy­namic Trac­tion Con­trol, tem­per­a­ture con­trolled seats and cruise con­trol, to name a few. The sec­ond mo­tor­cy­cle to be launched was one from their Her­itage model lineup, the RnineT Racer. It gets it power from a 1.2-litre two-cylin­der boxer unit de­vel­op­ing 110bhp and 116Nm of torque. The bike will be avail­able as a CBU unit and gets a price tag of Rs 17.3 lakh (ex-show­room).
