Redefining the electric scooter

OKINAWA SCOOTERS claims that their latest launch, the Praise is the fastest e-scooter in India. Boasting a top speed of 75kmph and a range of 170-200km on a single charge, Okinawa is aiming to give conventional petrol-powered scooters a run for their money. The Praise uses a 1000W brushless DC motor powered by a 45Ah lithium-ion battery that can be charged in just an hour. The e-scooter sports features like LED lighting, all-digital instrumentation and a vehicle tracker among others. The Praise also features dual disc brakes on the front and a single at the rear wheel with energy regenerating braking. Cycle parts include gascharged telescopic front forks, gas-charged double rear shock and 12-inch alloy wheels. Available for Rs 59,899 ex-showroom pan India, Okinawa has kept the booking amount at an affordable Rs 2,000 with HDFC Bank offering financing options.
