Hero shows three new bikes

-

THE WORLD’S largest two-wheeler manufacturer has unveiled three new motorcycles with launches scheduled in January 2018. The Splendor brand for Hero dominates the 100125cc segment and cashing in on that popularity, it showcased an upgraded 125cc Super Splendor to strengthen its product portfolio. Hero targets the premium commuter motorcycle at young professionals and has restyled the Super Splendor with new body panels, tail lamp and headlight. With 11.4bhp and 11Nm the Super Splendor sees a 27 per cent bump in horsepower and 6 per cent more torque helping it achieve a top speed of 94kmph. When it goes on sale, the motorcycle will be available in five metallic colours. The second motorcycle is the Passion Pro. Hero’s prime 110cc contender now features a BS4 compliant engine that develops 9.4bhp and 9Nm. This new engine produces 12 per cent more overall power. Side stand indicator and the i3S start-stop function are notable additions while a new tank and tail lamp mark changes in design. The Passion XPro is another variant of the Passion brand of motorcycles utilising the same engine as the Passion Pro. What it brings along is sharper styling in the form of a new fuel tank, tank extensions and rear section that gets LED tail lights. The meterconsole also sees a revision in design and features a analogue-digital layout.
