PORSCHE 911 CARRERA T

Porsche took the wraps off a new 911 Carrera that embodies the principle of less is more. What they've done is take a base model Carrera, with its 3-litre twin turbo 370bhp engine and r emove anything that can take away from the driving experience. As with the original 1968 911T, the entertainment system, door handles and sound insulation are ditched, to give this Carrera T the lowest kerb weight of the range. At just 1,425kg it's over 20kg lighter than a standard Carrera. Standard on the Carrera T is a seven-speed manual transmission, lowered sports suspension and a mechanically locking rear differential.
