If ever there was a car begging to be launched in India then it is the Swift Sport and it will give it the country’s first mass market hot hatch. The car not only looks the part both from the front and rear but also drives the part. Its not just the 140bhp and oodles of torque that are available but also the fact that this is a light car and that gives it the performance that one desires from a sports version of a car. Given the fact that Maruti will be launching the Vitara Brezza with a more powerful petrol engine than anything that it has in the country so far, it just makes sense to launch the Swift Sport with the very same engine and then price it below the ten lakh rupees mark to see another grand success from the Swift nameplate
