McLaren to showcase hypercar Senna

-

THE SENNA from McLaren is all set to debut at next year’s Geneva Motor Show and the company remains tightlipped on its specifications. The hypercar will replace the P1 and is expected to be powered by a mega 4-litre V8 engine. Power output is expected to be 789bhp. Going by these facts, the Senna is not as powerful as the car it replaces. But the company says that the Senna has been designed, engineered and developed with single-minded purpose: to be the ultimate McLaren track-concentrated car for the road. Legalised for road use, but not sanitised to suit it. The carbon fibre Monocage III chassis that forms the core of the McLaren Senna is a further development of the structure that underpins the McLaren 720S and is the strongest monocoque ever built by McLaren for a road-legal vehicle. Only 500 units will be produced.
