Step into the future

-

Volkswagen is all set to get back to the future at the Geneva Motor Show. The company also put out a teaser of two new products. The first one is the I.D. Vizzion Concept which is a premium, fully-autonomous saloon. The sedan features suicide doors at the back and the pillarless design stands out as well. The 111kWh lithium-ion batteries are expected to provide a 660km plus range and top speed is expected to be around 170kmph plus.

The second concept is perhaps a tad bit more exiting—the Cabriolet version of T-Roc. The T-ROC is based on the modular transverse matrix (MQB) platform and is expected to be loaded with a 184bhp turbo diesel engine connected via a newly developed seven-speed DSG gearbox. It will also feature Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all wheel drive system. Three driving modes – ‘Street’, ‘Offroad’ and ‘Snow’ will allow the T-Roc to take on various terrain.
