model presented by Cleveland Cycle Werks is called the Misfit. This is the second generation of the motorcycle which features upgrades from the previous iteration. The Misfit uses the same engine as the Ace range thus power output are identical and so are the cycle parts. Styling is the only differentiating factor as the bike incorporates a rear cowl and upswept exhaust along with a different tank to stand apart from the Ace Deluxe.
Ohio, USA based Cleveland CycleWerks makes their India debut with two of their motorcycle models. Starting with the Ace which has three sub models, the Ace Cafe, Ace Scrambler and Ace Deluxe. The motorcycles are designed on a retro theme as is evident from their styling and in tune with the current fad of neo-retro motorcycles. All the variants are powered by an air-cooled, 223cc engine developing 15.4bhp and 16Nm. The Ace variants features modern aluminium wheels, inverted front forks while the rear suspension is made up of conventional twin hydraulic shock absorbers.
The company is currently setting up their assembly plant in Pune, Maharashtra to assemble CKD units and price them in the range of Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh.
